Marketing & Public Relations, Consultant
As the Marketing & PR consultant, you are a dedicated to telling the story of Prism Skylabs and shaping the future of our company. Being a growing startup, you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product’s journey and the company’s evolution. From determining positioning, branding, messaging, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice and story of Prism Skylabs and grow a loyal consumer base. The role enables you to shape the product development process, organize product launches from beginning to end and form future marketing and PR strategy.
Requirements
- Create Marketing strategies for product releases, announcements or events
- Identify and develop key marketing operations processes to improve overall organizational efficiency and effectiveness
- Execute marketing campaigns
- Create marketing collateral
- Hone the story of Prism Skylabs and build our messaging
- Press Relations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing and PR for a growing company (technology or video surveillance companies a bonus!)
- Strong process orientation and attention to details as well as business acumen and communication skills
- Familiarity and experience in relevant social media outlets
- Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles with outstanding execution and problem solving skills, resourcefulness, and creativity
System Administrator (Linux)
We’re looking for a highly motivated, creative developer to participate in the design and implementation of our system. The ability to work independently, come up with a software design, and relate your thoughts and strategies back to the development team are a must. Everyone here is a leader, and we want you to be one too, having an active role in influencing our system architecture, whether you’re a junior programmer with fresh ideas or a hardened veteran with years of experience.
Requirements
- Experience managing linux based virtual machines
- Comfortable with hosted servers and CDNs (AWS or related)
- LDAP, Open/Active Directory, IOS (the Cisco kind)
- Hands-on experience with LAMP stacks
Other desirable qualities:
- BS/MS in CS or related field
- Knowledge of Python
- Experience in a range of linux distros
- Hands-on experience with various LAMP/LAPP stacks (preferably some with Postgres and Python)
- Ability to find answers, not just have things memorized
Most importantly, you should innately seek answers, not just memorize boilerplate solutions.
